Autumn 2
WB 04.12.23
One of the most exciting (and busy) months of the calendar year begins with a focus on poetry. We will be looking at narrative verses as a type of poetry, with a seasonal focus on 'The Night Before Christmas', focusing on the oracy element of acting the poem out before planning and rewriting our own versions on the festive classic.
Maths will see a focus on multiplication, recapping short multiplication before looking at the most impactful strategies for long multiplication. In Science, we will continue to investigate all about the human body and how it works, and we will conclude our geography learning by researching one of Greece's most famous physical features, Mount Olympus. The week will end with the third Family Time session of the year, which will continue to be lead by the Oak class children.
