Geography
Geography draws on a vast range of vocabulary to identify and name places, the features within them and the human and physical characteristics. It also helps us to understand how and why places are changing and imagine the future of such environments.
At Lapworth CE Primary School, we aim to support children make sense of and stimulate an interest in their own surroundings and that of the wider world. Our geography is mainly enquiry led that seeks answers about locations, features, changes and connections between places.
We have teamed up with Wild Rails to take part in local fieldwork focusing on biodiversity, including a visit to Lapworth train station where we conducted a 'bioblitz'!
