  Our PTA coffee and cake afternoon was a great success - thank you to everyone who attended and all those who kindly donated cakes and biscuits. The amount raised will be confirmed as soon as we have a total.

  

• Indoor athletics competition

  Congratulations and WELL DONE to our Year 5 & 6 children for coming second place in the South Warwickshire indoor athletics competition at Stratford Primary today. A fantastic effort from them all.

  

• Remembrance day 2024

  Today the children and staff at school and preschool marked the annual Act of Remembrance with two minutes silence. We are all very proud of the children for being so respectful. 

  

• Wreath laying at St Mary's Church

  On Sunday, Head boy Roman and Head girl Eva attended the Remembrance service at St Mary's church. They proudly represented Lapworth School by laying a wreath at the War Memorial to remember all those who lost their lives to help others.

• Macmillan Coffee Afternoon

  Thank you to everyone who kindly provided cakes and donations for our Macmillan Coffee Afternoon. We will have further information regarding the total raised next week. Thank you also to our year 6 children and parent volunteers who helped with setting up and running the event. 

  

• Harvest Festival Assembly

  Well done to children in preschool butterfly group, reception class, years 1 & 2 for performing wonderfully in our Harvest Festival Assembly. Thank you for the generous donations brought into school - these have now been passed on to our local food bank. 

  

• Year 6 residential trip

  Year 6 enjoyed an incredible few days at the Pioneer Centre this week filled with fun and adventure. The children returned with so many stories to share - the experience has definitely enriched their last term at Lapworth school and fostered a greater sense of independence and teamwork🙌
