The building work starts at our school this week and we do hope that there isn't too much noise for our class. The children will be entering and exiting the building by the infant playground door. This will remain the case until the building work is finished.
During Literacy lessons this week we will be reading 'A Mid Summers Nights Dream' by Shakespeare. The children will be looking at the setting and the characters. They will also compare this story against the others that e have read so far. The children will be looking at prepositions in our grammar lesson this week.
Numeracy continues to look at data handling or statistics as it is referred to in the new National Curriculum. Children will analyse data and will construct line graphs, they will also calculate the mean / average from a set or group of data.
Our topic lessons this week will look at hunter gatherers and how farming changed the world.
