Welcome to Beech Class.
This year the children will be studying lots of exciting topics and learning lots of interesting information. This term we will be studying The Home Front where we will be looking at World War 2 especially focussing on England and local areas. In science we will be looking at different plants and what they need to grow and survive.
I'm looking forward to teaching the children about this .
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me.
Beech class held an Indian banquet where they made several Indian dishes and invited parents in for the afternoon to share the food with them. We would like to thank those parents who came in the morning to help prepare the dishes for the afternoon.
For Internet Safety Day we looked at different video clips about keeping safe, discussed why it is important and then made posters on how to keep safe online.
In Beech class this week we have been sharing our favourite books with our friends, writing book reviews and listening to other stories told or read by other people.
Beech class went on a walk around the school grounds to see what had changed since summer. Children found pictures of different berries, leaves, bushes and plants to take photos of and collected samples to name. They also sketched some trees they found of interest to add to their fact files.
